THURSDAYS 9/11/25-10/30/25
12:15-1:45 pm Sports Time Machine
Jump into the world of sports unlike anything you have seen! In this exciting sports history class, students will explore the epic journey of sports through the ages—from ancient Olympic games to modern mega-events like the Super Bowl and the World Cup. Along the way, you’ll uncover the business side of sports: how teams make money, the rise of sponsorships, and what it takes to build a sports empire! But that’s not all—kids will also join a cartoon-themed fantasy football league, where learning meets fun and friendly competition. They'll use real math concepts (like averages, probabilities, and data analysis) to draft the best players, crush their opponents, and outsmart the league—all while developing real-world critical thinking skills.

10:15-11:45 am Music and Mayhem
Journey through the ages of music with a class focused on the amazing, the weird, the ridiculous, and the awesome of music. We will study composers, song writers, and artists through the ages, learning about everything beyond the general scope we normally learn. Does music influence our brain? Why and how? What impact did this style have on a particular time in history? What type of music is most popular in certain areas? The why will surprise you, the impact will help you understand people and culture. Why does the study of music help us in other areas of academia? Find out the great and not so great aspects of music as an industry through the ages!
12:15-1:45pm Is The Doc in?
Step into the white coat and stethoscope as we transform young learners into real-life doctors. This interactive course invites students to explore the world of medicine through role play, hands-on experiments, and team challenges.
