Katelynn Schmidt

Originally from Pennsylvania, Katelynn has been living in the South since 2021 and currently resides in southeast Georgia.

After earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado Technical University, she made the decision to pursue a career in mental health counseling. She has successfully obtained a Master of Science in Counseling and Mental Health Services with a concentration in addictions counseling from Post University.

Furthermore, Katelynn is actively pursuing the Master's Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) credential.

She is looking forward to completing her program in 2025 and commencing her full-time work in counseling.

As a counselor in training, working under supervision, she provides services to:

• Adults

• Adolescents

• Children

Breakthroughs of North Florida is currently accepting new clients struggling with or in recovery from alcohol or drug issues.  Katie, has a Master’s in Counseling and Human Services with a concentration in Drug and Alcohol Counseling from Post University.  She is currently working toward the Master’s Level Certified Addictions Professional credential in Florida.
