Mitzi Tyre, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

Mitzi was born and raised in South Georgia. She attended Valdosta State and Georgia Southern University, having received a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing and achieving certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked locally in the specialty of mental health and substance abuse both in outpatient and inpatient settings for the last 13 years now. Mitzi is well-versed in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, bipolar disorder, addiction, as well as other mental health-related disorders. She has also been employed since 2015 at a non-profit sexual assault and child advocacy center part-time, providing services to victims of physical and sexual abuse, as well as domestic violence. This background has helped equip Mitzi for serving and treating clients with past trauma and abuse.

Brittany Turner,  APRN, PMHNP-BC

Brittany was born in Waycross, GA, and has spent most of her life in South, GA. She has 19 years in the medical field. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and then pursued her master’s degree, specializing in Psychiatric/Mental Health, from Walden University. Much of her experience was gained as a bedside nurse at Bacon County Hospital and then at Amedisys Home Health as a Care Transition Coordinator/Manager. Her passion for serving those with mental health, addictions, and other issues stems from watching those she loves suffer throughout her lifetime.
