Joanna McIntosh

Hi! I am Joanna McIntosh. I was born and raised in Fernandina Beach, Florida. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in secondary math education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. I am a certified and former teacher. I taught math in a public school for about two years. Prior to that I had worked for Florida Virtual School as an intern. I started out teaching math here at Breakthroughs for a little over a year, as well as tutoring other programs. One thing about myself is that no matter where I go, I will always have a love and passion for education. Three things that I aim to do and hold as a life motto are to inspire, empower, and educate. I will use the information that I have learned from my education and life experiences to help bridge educational gaps.
