Jenny Ard

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Jenny is a native of Nassau County, growing up in Bryceville, Florida. She joined Breakthroughs of North Florida as a counseling intern in January of 2023.

Jenny’s passion for helping others began when she volunteered for three years at the Florida Baptist Children’s Home working with the children of the Single Moms program. In addition, she has also spent time working with children refugees from war-torn countries and has taught English to young adolescents in Slovakia. Jenny has also been able to coach Upward Cheerleading at her local church.

Her educational experiences include graduating with her Associates Degree while still in high school in 2019. She continued her education at the University of North Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in spring of 2021. She is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is planning to complete her program in December of 2023.

Jenny currently resides in northeast Florida, surrounded by her family, with whom she spends a lot of time with, especially her two precious nephews.

She is very excited to complete her educational journey and begin counseling clients full-time. She plans to stay and serve her Nassau County community for many years.
