*There are many free options out there. Our local homeschool support group offers Homeschool 101 and 102 open to the public sessions once per quarter. You probably have a friend who homeschools who can point you in the right direction. We encourage you to take advantage of your local homeschool group and get involved in your homeschool community. The following programs are for people who really want and/or need one on one assistance and guidance.

• Option 1  -  The Get Going

Meet one on one with a veteran homeschool parent to get step by step assistance with registering with the county, learning the homeschool laws, finding out what to look for in a curriculum, record maintenance and evaluation recommendations. 1 hour session $ 60.

• Option 2  -  The I’m Here Now What

You’ve got the basics.  You know what is expected of you, what forms to send and where.  

• How do you implement the process? 

• Scheduling, time and home management, what should school look like for YOUR family? 

• How should you organize and prioritize? 

• What if you have one child? 

• What if you have 6?  

• What if you have toddlers and teens?  

• What if you work?  

Veteran homeschool and working Mom of many will help you get a plan together! $ 75 for the first hour, any additional requested time $ 50.

• Option 3  -  There are so many choices? WHAT DO I GET?

Curriculum help. The number one question veteran homeschoolers get asked. How do I know what to get? A one hour one on one consultation to help you find the right curricula based on your needs, your child(ren)’s learning style and your budget. $ 100 for the first hour, $ 50 for any additional time requested.

• Option 4  -  Learning Differently, how do I handle that?

If you suspect your child has a learning disability or is neuro divergent, and you want to homeschool, you probably have questions. Meet one on one with a homeschool mom of many who ALL are neuro divergent and receive assistance on how to engage and teach your child. $ 75 per hour for as many sessions as you would like.

A little more about our Director of Education, Michele Reuter

Michele Reuter is a homeschool mom who started this journey in 1997. Michele left the corporate world when her 7 year old daughter was about to start 2nd grade and would be part of the local school board’s ESE program. Tom Reuter, Michele’s husband, decided it would be in the best interest of their daughter to receive education at home. After not being able to find resources to support their neurodiverse children, Tom & Michele started a landscaping company to support their growing family and delved headlong into the homeschool journey.

Over the past 28 years, Michele has homeschooled her 5 children (2 of whom are still at home) and continues homeschooling the children at home and her grandchildren. All of Michele’s children have a variety of special learning needs, attention issues, and executive function dysregulation. Michele served as President of a large local support group for over 15 years. She is trained in a variety of programs designed for the neurodiverse and has been educating and supporting others' education journey for over 20 years. 

Breakthroughs Tutoring Packages are designed to give customers the discounted hourly price with the flexibility of not having to attend sessions every week.  However, scheduling is dependent upon tutor availability and preferential session times may not be available
