Originally from Southern California, Bridget is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who values the holistic wellbeing of each person. She believes every individual possesses inherent dignity and is created for meaningful connection and relationship.
Bridget received her training in clinical and medical social work from the University of Washington in 2015 and has experience working in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and corporate leadership roles. These experiences have strengthened both her clinical expertise and her ability to connect compassionately with clients from diverse backgrounds including:
Individuals navigating acute or chronic illness, as well as caregivers supporting loved ones through medical challenges
Individuals and families experiencing complex family dynamics, including co-parenting and divorce
Those facing grief and loss, including miscarriage and infertility
High-functioning teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, or major life transitions
Couples seeking healing, improved communication, and deeper connection in their relationships
Military families navigating deployments, high stress, and the unique challenges of military life
Bridget’s counseling style is warm, compassionate, and direct. She is able to incorporate a faith-based perspective into therapy when desired by the client. She is formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has also completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for both couples and individuals.
As a military spouse, Bridget is a transplant to the area and is excited to serve the Nassau County community through her work as a therapist!
