KiAnna Spivey graduated with Honors from the University of Michigan in 2016 with Bachelor’s degrees in Comparative Literature and Women’s Studies. She speaks fluent Spanish and spent a semester studying Spanish and Literature at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Madre y Maestra in Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Throughout college, KiAnna worked as Lead Tutor for College Tutors - Ann Arbor and specialized in SAT/ACT preparation. She has also taught Reading, English Language Arts, Spanish, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Precalculus, and Calculus I and II. She moved to Nassau County in 2016 and worked three years of social work as a home visitor for a child abuse and neglect prevention program, teaching parents about early childhood development. KiAnna’s true passion is helping children of all ages thrive and succeed in their lives.
